Weighing only 2.5 lbs., the ALT-Chat offers a brilliant 7" touchscreen display, switch scanning (single or dual switch), NeoSpeech (most natural, 2 adult voices - 1 male, 1 female) or Acapela (available either in English-Spanish or English-German, English includes both adult and child voices) speech synthesis, recorded speech, and all other ChatPC features. The ALT-Chat is available in three colors - black, red, or light blue. Now includes a new ALARM (audible tone, spoken message, or show a picture) feature...set an alarm to occur once or to repeat daily, weekly or monthly! Shoulder Strap, Carrying Case, and Extended Warranty are available as accessories. The ALT-Chat is available in both the Standard and Plus models. The ALT-Chat Standard model is designed for persons who use primarily picture symbols for communication, although it does include a simple letters page for spelling.
