The Bluebird II is the outstanding recording communication device everyone is talking about!  This 10 message level (and 1 toy/appliance control level) device breaks new ground by attaching the overlays to the face of the keyboard via a 4 ring connection.  The user simply flips to the overlay desired and presses the corresponding level button to have access to all 10 message overlays/levels.  Since the overlays are attached to the device there is nothing else to carry.  The user never has to remove an overlay in order to place another overlay in position for use!  The Bluebird II features a 24 key keyboard (four rows by six columns) that can be configured for fewer and larger keys.

The Bluebird II is accessible by pressing keys on the keyboard, one or two switch input to select up to two messages per level, and one or two switch auditory scanning (user listens to auditory cue via earphone).  This device does not operate via visual switch scanning.

The Bluebird II weighs 2.25 lbs. and measures 11.7" x 8.5" x 1.4".  It features built-in legs that can be flipped up to provide a 15 degree tilt as well as a rear hand-strap.  The device is powered by a rechargeable battery and an AC adapter is provided.
