By Unlimiter.  The Cardinal is augmentative communication made simple, made functional, and made cost effective!  This new device is lightweight (only 13.5 oz.), compact (7.6" x 5.25" x 0.9"), and easy to operate. 

The Cardinal is a recording-based, direct selection communication device.  The keyboard consists of 8 large keys which may be reconfigured into 8, 4, 2, or 1 key arrangements.  The unit provides 3 levels of messages and 8 minutes of high quality recording time.  Includes hand-strap on rear for ease of carrying.  Two auxiliary switch input jacks permit direct switch access to two messages per level.  It is powered by 2 AA batteries or AC power adapter.
