By Unlimiter.  The new Chickadee provides a lot of communication from one button!  This single button recording device provides 3 levels, each of which can hold up to 12 messages.  Messages can be spoken sequentially through single switch scanning or through two-switch step scanning when using an additional switch.  A "roulette" mode (never know what messages you'll speak) is also provided for games and other activities.  Both visual and auditory scanning is provided.  Two models are available:  a 3-level version and a 1 level version.  The 3 level version provides tri-color LED feedback to indicate which level is being used (Level 1 is blue, level 2 is red and level 3 is green).  Additionally 12 LED's are arranged around the perimeter of the round top, each LED corresponding to a single message being played (remember there are 12 messages per level).  The 1 level version simply provides 12 messages.  The Chickadee features 8 minutes of recording time, a round lid measuring 3.5" in diameter, two external switch jacks, headphone jack for auditory scanning, and two external jacks for toy/appliance control.  Powered by two AA batteries.
