The new Freedom Toughbook is a powerful, full-featured Windows-based notebook computer (based on the Panasonic Toughbook) which includes a large 15.4" color display, full size notebook keyboard, DVD/CD-ROM drive, carrying case, new Sound Pac sound amplification/alternate input system (provides the highest quality sound of any communication device!), built-in handle,  and one of three augmentative communication software programs:  E Z Keys for Windows, Say-It! SAM PC Software, or Speaking Dynamically Pro w/Boardmaker.  This rugged device has a magnesium alloy upper case and fiberglass reinforced lower case, shock-mounted hard drive, lots of memory, a lithium-ion battery, and WiFi wireless built-in.  Combine with the Wireless Components accessory for wireless internet and printing (must be ordered at same time as Freedom Toughbook).  Includes a 3 year warranty, tollfree technical assistance for life, an onsite orientation, and free software upgrades for life (E Z Keys, SAM PC).  This unit is also available in a Medicare approved version, the Freedom Dedicated Speech Generating Device (SGD).
