By Igel and from Zygo.  Finally ...a dual-display, text-based communication device that makes the most of today's technological advances!  The new Spok21 communication system was especially designed for all day use as a speech generating device with a wide range of functionality.  Features a modern ergonomic design, high quality Babel speech synthesizer available in 18 languages, large 7-line front display, 2-line second rear partner display, 2 integrated speakers, large storage memory for messages, 6 direct fast access message keys for short utterances, and easy setup through menu-based controls.  The Spok21 weighs only 2.8 lbs. and measures 10" x 8.5" x 2.7".   Purchase the optional Phone Link for the Spok21 to quickly and easily connect it to telephones!

The Spok21 requires no computer knowledge and is extremely easy to use.  The display may be set for small, medium, or large fonts.  The user can type what he wishes to say and immediately speak it.  For faster communication over 600 messages may be stored for quick recall.  Messages may be stored by communication situation, level, and letter. 12 levels of messages may be stored.  Desired level is selected by using the direct access keys beside display.

The Spok21 is available in a direct selection only model (the Spok21, either QWERTY or ABC arrangements-specify when ordering) as well as a combination direct selection and switch scanning model (the Spok21 Combi).  The scanning display on the Spok21 Combi occurs on the keyboard keys.  The keys themselves are translucent and light up during switch scanning, thus not taking any space on the LCD display!
