By Namco and from Zygo.  There has never before been a communication device like the new TalkingAid Wireless!  This is a text-based communication device with which a user may type (or switch scan) messages to be spoken, retrieve previously stored messages with minimal key presses, produce written documents internally as well as through computer connectivity, operate a computer through keyboard emulation (via USB connection), and have FULL CELL PHONE (voice and e-mail) Functionality!!!

The TalkingAid Wireless has been designed from the ground up to provide cell phone and e-mail functions.  This is fully integrated into its' operating system and provides the ability to make and receive phone calls as well as send and receive e-mails.  The user listens to the phone call through the built-in speaker (or through an earphone connected to the earphone jack) while the outgoing speech messages are routed through the installed AirCard.  Dedicated keys are provided for phone unhook and hook to permit direct access to voice calling as well as keys for e-mail send and receive.

Other features include DECtalk speech synthesis, simple true keyboard operation, one-button screen flip (reverses text for viewing by communication partner), word completion prediction, color LCD with three font sizes, and two scanning methods (auto row-column scan and two-switch step scan).  This is a very rugged device with a moisture resistant front panel, weighs only 3.3 lbs., and measures 11.3" x 8.9" x 2.6".  Includes shoulder strap, snap-in keyguard, battery charger, and manual.  1 year warranty.
