TestTalker is a new software program designed to help struggling students learn more, study better, and  become successful in taking tests and completing worksheets.  TestTalker is specifically designed as an  accommodation tool for students with learning disabilities as well any other struggling reader and writer.  All too often a student has mastered the material taught in a given subject area only to not be able to read the written paper test presented to him.  Consequently the teacher is forced to read the test aloud to the student.  This benefits neither the student nor teacher.

TestTalker turns paper tests into on-screen talking tests! 

There are two versions of TestTalker:  TestTalker Teacher Edition and TestTalker Student Edition.

TestTalker Teacher Edition is used  to scan or open existing tests and worksheets. The test appears on the screen of the computer and is quickly and easily modified by the teacher by assigning answer areas.  Answer areas may be assigned for multiple choice, true-false, fill-in-the-blank and essay questions.  The modified test is then saved on the computer.  At anytime the teacher may return to the test to further edit it.  Once a test has been modified and saved it is available for use by students as many times as desired through the use of TestTalker Student Edition.  One free copy of TestTalker Student Edition comes with each copy of TestTalker Teacher Edition.

TestTalker Student Edition is used by a student to open and take the modified test.  Students are not able to further modify the test, only place their answers in the assigned answer areas.  The test is now a talking test and students have full control over how many times directions, questions and possible answers are spoken.  Students also have the ability to change speaking rate, pause, print functions, etc.  Once a test has been completed the student may print it out and turn it in.  TestTalker Student Edition is available in 5-Packs and in a Super Pack (which consists of five 5-Packs for the cost of four 5-Packs).  By Freedom Scientific Learning Systems Group.
