Symbol or text based messages are created using VoiceSymbol (for picture displays/documents) or VoiceInk (for text documents) and then printed on paper. With a tap of The VoicePen, the letters, words or messages are then spoken out loud. The VoicePen messages are encoded in ink and printed directly on paper. When tapped with The VoicePen the message speaks, simple as that! Communication pages can be cut and attached directly to objects to facilitate language acquisition and word retrieval. Communication pages can range from one symbol to hundreds per page. Pages can be inserted into plastic sheet protectors or laminated to enhance durability. They can also be easily replaced if lost or damaged - just print out another copy! The VoicePen can also use letters to generate words and messages. Just “type” a word and The VoicePen will say it out loud. String spelled words together to form sentences. Keyboards can be page size or pocket size. The VoicePen Pack comes with printed core vocabularies as well as both small and large keyboards. Custom vocabulary can be created using VoiceSymbol or VoiceInk software.
